INGREDIENTS
4 - 5 large bananas
peanut butter
toasted coconut (optional)
nuts (optional)
CHOCOLATE DIP
2 1/2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup
DIRECTIONS
Peel bananas and slice into 1/2 inch pieces.
Spread a small amount of peanut butter between two banana slices and sandwich together.
Melt coconut oil then combine with the cocoa powder & maple syrup to make chocolate dip.
Dip banana bites in chocolate & place on baking sheet. Add nuts or other toppings if desired-while chocolate is wet then freeze for 5 minutes to set.
Remove from freezer & ENJOY!
*Other topping ideas: crushed vanilla wafers, chopped almonds, crushed graham crackers, crushed pistachios
