Berry-licious Topping

You can put this on ANYTHING! Pancakes, Greek yogurt, muffins, bagels, toast, or even eat with granola and some whipped topping!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup frozen unsweetened dark cherries⠀

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries⠀

  • 2 packs stevia (or more)

  • 1/4 cup water⠀

  • pinch of salt⠀

  • splash lemon juice (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a saucepan, bring 1/4 cup water to a boil.

  2. Throw in the frozen berries.⠀

  3. Add stevia, salt, and lemon juice if desired. ⠀

  4. Cooked for 5 to 7 minutes or until desired consistency.⠀

  5. Let berries cool before placing in air tight container.

*You can mix 1 TBSP cornstarch + water together and add to berries for a thicker, syrupy consistency.⠀

*You can also substitute any berries you like: strawberries, cranberries, blackberries. (If using cranberries, you'll need more stevia and maybe some honey for more sweetness.)⠀
