INGREDIENTS
3 cups brussels sprouts
1tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
garlic powder (to taste)
onion powder (to taste)
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 425°.
Lightly spray a foil-lined baking sheet with cooking spray.
Trim ends of brussels sprouts and remove yellow leaves.
Then, slice all brussels sprouts in half.
In a medium bowl, combine halved Brussels sprouts, olive oil, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, balsamic and maple syrup; toss to combine.
Place onto the baking sheet, and roast in the oven at for about 30 to 35 minutes. During the last 5-10 minutes of roasting, turn them over for even browning (the cut sides should be nicely and partially charred but not blackened).
Drizzle with hot honey for a little sweet/spicy kick (optional).
Enjoy!!
