INGREDIENTS
For the crust:
3/4 cup egg whites
2 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
dash of garlic powder
dash of Italian seasoning
Toppings:
1/4 cup all-natural pizza sauce
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
pepperoni slices (optional)
bacon bits (optional)
sprinkle of parmesan cheese (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, use a hand mixer OR emersion blender to beat eggs, cornstarch, and seasonings until stiff peaks form.
Spoon out fluffy dollops on your baking sheet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until firm to touch and golden brown.
Remove from oven and top with pizza sauce, cheese, and other toppings!
Add back to oven (you can bump up to 425°) for additional 10 minutes or until completely warmed & melted through. You can also broil on low for around 3 minutes!
Try mixing up with flavors! Add in extra veggies, different cheeses, etc! This would also work well with pesto instead of pizza sauce and adding chicken and spinach topped with mozzarella!
