healthy, yum, here with me!! Happy eating!
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup maple syrup (or 1/4 cup honey, 1/4 cup maple syrup)
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup oat flour (see note)
mini chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
Heat maple syrup on medium-high heat in a sauce pan until bubbling.
Remove from heat and add the peanut butter. Stir until mixed.
Next, fold in the oat flour.
Let cool completely so that the chocolate chips do not melt when you put them in. (Be patient)
Add mini chocolate chips, nuts, or any other topping that you like.
Spread the dough into a loaf pan or small baking sheet. Stick in the freezer until set. Then cut into small blocks.
NOTE: If you don’t have oat flour, simply put the same amount of quick oats into a food processor and grind up until it reaches a “flour-like” consistency.
*Enjoy as a tasty treat! I like to keep mine in a Ziploc bag in the freezer so I’m not tempted to grab them every time I open the refrigerator!
