healthy, yum, here with me!! Happy eating!
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb raw 93% lean ground BUTTERBALL turkey
2 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
1 tsp. sea salt (or Himalayan salt)
1 tsp. finely chopped fresh sage OR ½ tsp dried sage
1 tsp. finely chopped fresh rosemary
¼ tsp. ground black pepper
2 tsp. ice cold water
1 tsp. olive oil
DIRECTIONS:
Combine turkey, maple syrup, salt, sage, rosemary, pepper, and water in a large mixing bowl; mix with clean hands until just blended. (Do not overmix, as that will make the sausage tough.) Set aside.
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Scoop out turkey mixture with a 2 TBSP cookie scooper and place in skillet. Flatten with the back of spatula to create patties. Cook 2-3 min on each side or until brown.
Continue until the whole batch is complete. Let cool then place in a freezer bag to easily pop out for breakfast! They warm up nicely in 1 minute!
